Whats the most effective way to craft a good physical bow? Alt one til i got high physical dmg and attack speed then regal it? Dmg csgo top what perfect top. What would be the best type of bow to use for crafting? (lvl 73 btw) Also i have at least 1 exalt in currency if somebody wants to sell a high physical dmg bow, Im currently using the chinsol unique bow. Mana Multiplier: 140% Requires Level 4 Supports attack skills that can be used with bows. Supported skills can only be used with bows. Cannot support Vaal skills, minion skills, movement skills, or skills used by totems, traps, or mines. When you Hit an Enemy with an Arrow from a Supported Skill.

How does Life Leech scale to Elemental DMG, not only converted from Phys but original Ele one.
And Spell Damage too.

Life leech on gear and passives only apply to physical damage dealt, not elemental.
The Life Leech support gem will apply to damage done by the skill it supports (and supporting gems) regardless if it does physical, elemental, or both damage types. It will not apply to added elemental damage from auras, gear, damage over time effects, or secondary damage (like explosive arrow's explosion damage).
EDIT: not sure about added elemental damage from say Anger on an attack with the support gem, actually.

What about converted phys dmg, like phys to fire gems and so on.
Any tell me about spell damage does it has nothing to do with Life Leech/Life on Hit.

Any life or mana leech besides the support gems will ONLY leech from physical damage (This does not include physical spells like EK). Not matter how the damage is done. However since life leech is capped at 20% max life a second, its still possible for attacks that split elemental and physical damage to still leech enough life compared to pure physical attacks. Depending on your max health of course.
Damage from Anger / Wrath / Elemental damage mods from gear / ect, can leech life, but only with the use of the support gem.

Life Gain on Hit:
'life gained by each enemy hit by your ATTACKS': meaning it only works on attack skills, not spells.

'% of DAMAGE leeched back as life': the word 'damage' is as general as it gets, any damage done by the skill it supports will leech life. Doesn't matter if it's an attack skill or a spell.
Added Fire Damage:
'20% of physical damage ADDED as fire damage'
* This is not converted damage it's extra fire damage added proportional to your physical damage. Fire damage is not physical damage so this extra damage would only apply to the Life Leech support gem.
Physical damage converted to another type of damage is no longer physical damage, so regular life leech from gear does not work on it, only the support gem.

Does the damage not change at all, or just not as much as you wanted? The mod is still an 'increased damage' mod, which means is stacks additively with other mods of that group.

I think its originally added crit or something similar and since my character doesn't have them, I only get a tiny bit of damage from cast speed.

I just gone one with 15% Increased Global Physical Damage.
Does it even count if you equip it?
My character doesn't use physical damage so I can't check.

The mod 'increased physical damage' was reworded to 'increased global physical damage' everywhere (except for weapons, where it is local). I guess the intention was to make it clearly different to said local 'increased physical damage' mod found on weapons.
The should be no functional change at all.
@Kaspis37:
You are using attacks. You don't get higher damage from 'cast speed'. I still think you misunderstand the jewel. It should give you higher physical damage, but the 16% stacks with all your other 'increased damage' mods you already have.
You have a total of 519% increased physical damage on Cyclone already (passive tree and item effects), so you get to 535% with the jewel. This means your tooltip should change around 2.6%, because factor 6.35 compared to 6.19 is ≈1.026 higher.

Path Of Exile Does Physical Attack Dmg Apply To Bows For Free

  • For Path of Exile on the PC, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'Does increased spell damage affect things like totems?'
  • Do 'Physical attack Damage' nodes work with non-melee characters? I'm playing as a Ranger ATM and the node says you to '8% increased physical damage with attacks.' That makes it sounds like only melee attacks get the bonus from 'Physical attack damage node.'
  • Path of Exile. All Discussions. (increased physical damage passives) and increase in phys with the weapon you're using (like increaed physical damage with bows if you're using a bow) will scale bleed. Do I have this right? Gotta make sure I got it down so I don't have a 0.1 dps build. Modifying the base damage with% weapon/attack damage.
